Interactive Crime and Activity Pin Maps
The portal pin mapping capability provides a “window” for the citizen to view neighborhood and community crimes and crime trends. The portal provides a fully Interactive Crime and Activity Pin Maps that permits the Internet user to display law enforcement activity on a map for a selected area of the country. Selected crime categories within a geographic area for the user determined time frame can be accessed on the fly. The mapping applications will provide the citizenry an easy to understand view of the city and will increase public awareness of local crime trends. See it in action...
The Citizen Service portal is the only commercially available application that supports both case report information extracted from the records management system (RMS) and general agency activity information provided from the CAD system. As such the portal provides a complete overview of released agency activity, and the citizens are no longer dependent on standard media releases. The data displayed comes from your agency’s CAD and RMS databases.
